Discover the joy of tufting in this hands‑on creative experience! Our Little Tuft Workshop is perfect for solo crafters, friends, couples, and anyone who wants to make a personalised mini rug to take home - ideal as a wall hanging, coaster, tote bag or bold cushion panel. You don’t need any experience, just bring your creativity and enthusiasm! It's perfect if you want to dip your toes into rug-making without committing to a big project.

Workshops are suitable for ages 14+ (under‑18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult).

Design Submission

Please email your chosen design to contact@tuftingeck.co.uk, send it via @tuftingeck on Facebook or Instagram, or submit via the Design Submission link at least 48 hours before your workshop. For group bookings, please submit all designs together.

Submitting early allows us to confirm the design is suitable, make any necessary adjustments, ensure we bring the correct coloured yarns (as only limited quantities are carried to each session).
We prepare and draw your design onto the canvas in advance, giving you the best chance to complete your rug in time during the workshop.

You are welcome to choose your own design (please see Tufting Guidelines & Examples). For Little Tufts sessions, designs should be limited to 2–4 colours.

If you prefer, you may also choose a design from the available flash sheets. Please ensure your chosen design is submitted no later than 48 hours prior to your booking.

What’s Included

✔ Full introduction to tufting. We’ll show you how to use the tufting gun safely and confidently

✔ All materials provided. Including tufting frame, cloth, yarns, glue, backing & tools

✔ Step‑by‑step guidance from start to finish

✔ Finishing touches so you leave with a complete, handmade 25 × 25 cm rug

This workshop is designed to be fun, relaxing and rewarding, whether you’re creating something for your home, giving it as a gift, or simply trying out a new craft.

Feel free to bring a snack/packed lunch in case you get peckish.

Classes are 3.5 hours long to make sure everyone finishes, but you may potentially finish earlier!

If you want a private group session (e.g., birthday, hen do, team outing), get in touch for custom options!

Booking Policies

• Please double check your session date and time before booking — adjustments after checkout can’t always be made.

• If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 72 hours before your session. Please see Refund & Reschedule Policy.

• Workshops run with a minimum of 5 participants. If this isn’t met, we’ll contact you before the session to reschedule or offer a full refund.
